Ava Lester has become the ambassador for Anthem LemonAid's 25th anniversary while undergoing treatment for leukemia at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. "And I've learned a lot more after the tough stuff. So I've been getting a lot better at swimming and it's a good way to build up my muscle back and actually play with people and just be around people."

Ava's appeal to potential donors is straightforward yet powerful.

"Imagine there's millions of me, but we can't afford medicine and stuff, and we need help, so can you donate money for us?" she asked.
ANTHEM LEMONAID: Click here to donate to help local kids fight cancer!
She emphasizes that even small donations make a difference.

"Thank you very much. You've helped so many people, even if you haven't donated, even if you donate $1, that still helps," Ava said.

When asked what superpower she wishes she had during treatment, Ava's answer reveals her perspective.

"I feel like it would be reverse time and like speed up time," she said. "But I wish I had that superpower. I wish I had a magic wand that could just make everything go away."

To fellow children facing cancer, Ava offers words of encouragement.

"It's going to be really, really hard," she said. "I want as many people as possible to donate to the cause and help as many kids as they possibly can. I can just see myself in the future and I couldn't really do that when I was younger," she said.

Supporters can visit LemonAid stands throughout Richmond this weekend or join the CBS 6 LemonAid Day at CBS 6 Studios on Broad Street starting at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
CBS 6 is committed to sharing community voices on this important topic. Email your thoughts to the CBS 6 Newsroom. : CONNECT WITH US Blue Sky | Facebook | Instagram | X | Threads | TikTok | YouTube This story was initially reported by a journalist and has been converted to this platform with the assistance of AI. A new exhibit at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia celebrates the 140-year legacy of one of the South's earliest Black Catholic congregations.
"Faith & Resilience: The Legacy of Black Catholics in Virginia" tells the story of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, which served as a beacon of hope for Black Catholics in Richmond.

The church's history began in 1879 when Bishop John King started ministering to African Americans in the basement of St. Peter's Cathedral in Jackson Ward.

"And then in 1884 he felt there was a need to found a church, to build a church for the blacks, and so he did that and in 1885 November 22, he dedicated St Joseph's Catholic Church," said Rev. Tochi Iwuji, Pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Director of Office for Black Catholics.

The exhibit was envisioned by Deacon Charles Williams to honor the church's significant role in the community.

"St Joseph's was more than a church. It was the hub of the community where people gathered. So, he thought a way to honor St Joseph's was to establish a black Catholic Museum," Rev. Iwuji said.

Mary Lauderdale, Director of Curatorial Services at the Black History Museum & Cultural Center, welcomed the opportunity to showcase this important story.

"It's a compelling story. I've always wanted to do an exhibit such as this," Lauderdale said. "We've done things with some of the schools in the area, but some of the Catholic schools in the area, but not about the churches."

Visitors can explore artifacts, documents and personal memories that highlight the congregation's survival and community strength.

"One of the things they will see is that history cannot be erased, is that even though the church is closed, the legacy lived in the people," Rev. Iwuji said.

The exhibit resonates with the museum's mission to preserve important cultural stories.

"This is an inspirational story, this is a Virginia story, it's a family story, it's a faith, it's resilience," Lauderdale said. "It checks off all the boxes of what we want to represent here at the Black History Museum."

Though St. Joseph's itself has closed, its legacy continues to inspire other Black Catholic congregations, including Holy Rosary in Church Hill.

The exhibit runs through Nov. 29, with a special Eucharistic procession planned for Nov. 22 at the historic marker in Jackson Ward.

The Black History Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, with annual memberships starting at $35.

"So that's my hope, that they will come and just live here with hope, the interest to work for healing and the interest to keep fighting so that justice will prevail for all," Rev. Iwuji said.
Two powerful new exhibitions featuring gripping photographs of the 2020 Richmond protests are now open at The Branch Museum of Design, bringing untold voices to the forefront.
Richmond Free Press photojournalists Regina Boone and Sandra Sellars have worked in Richmond for more than three decades. Together, they covered the 2020 Richmond protests extensively.

"The two of us were on the streets for more than 60 days, up to 65 days consecutively during 2020, documenting the uprisings and the expressions of hope that people were fighting for on the streets of Richmond," Boone said.

Sellars recalled getting "pepper-sprayed and tear-gassed with everyone else."

"We saw the tension. We saw all of those things, but at the same time, we were both struck by the camaraderie, the friendships that people formed," Sellars said.

From their boots-on-the-ground coverage and a previous showing in 2022, "(re)Framing Protest (NOW): Design + Hope," is back at the Branch Museum of Design with a focus on the present.

"We added the 'NOW' in parentheses because of the importance of where we are today," Boone said. "The here and the now in 2025 that these pictures could be taken today, this exhibit is relevant to today."

The exhibit captures intimate moments that moved a nation, revealing the spirit of activism throughout the city.

"You'll see pictures of quiet moments. You'll see pictures of moments where people are holding up signs, making signs, are marching, are dancing, are speaking out in fierce ways," Boone said.

Sellars said she talked to journalists and others who were afraid to venture to the protest sites. She said she was not scared.

"It was, it was oddly a kind of calmness," Sellars said. "I just did what I had to do."

Through their lenses, Boone and Sellars recorded the raw emotion and hope of a community of people.

"Sandra and I are specific about what we stand for," Boone said. "The Richmond Free Press is specific about what we stand for. And what you'll take away from these images are what the people of Richmond are specific for what they stand for. And that is racial equality and justice and for all people, for all races."

It's something Boone's father, the late Ray Boone, founder, editor and publisher of the Richmond Free Press, was very passionate about.

"And people will say, 'Oh my gosh, I hear Ray Boone.' And sometimes I used to get upset about that," Boone acknowledged. "But you know what, my dad, he knew the truth then when people doubted him, and he knows the truth now and he's with us."

A collective body of work shows the human spirit during a time stamped in history.

"Sometimes we weren't safe, but other times we were very safe because we were amongst people, peaceful people who were there trying to convey change and trying to voice their opinions," Boone said.

Sellars said she hopes people walk away from the exhibit with a better understanding of the protests.

"I would like for people to get the sense of community that was formed at the monuments," Sellars said. "And the sense of calmness and peace and just take away the fact that the people are human beings."

Visitors can see "(re)Framing Protest (NOW): Design + Hope" and "Echoes of Us," an exhibit exploring the evolving nature of Black identity featuring the work of S. Nick Brucker is living a life of gratitude after being diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in 2020. Now, he's turning his pain into power with his nonprofit, Cruising for Cancer.
"I've had a total of 15 surgeries, and I just started my 72nd round of chemo yesterday morning. So, you know, still here, still kicking," Brucker said.

Despite his ongoing battle with cancer, Brucker found purpose in helping others facing similar challenges.

"I was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in 2020 so that's the reason I bought this car, because I wasn't given a very good chance to live. So, we've been using this car to help other patients to raise money and just, you know, help them have fun, help them with bills, send people on vacations, and, you know, build them a deck if they want to get outside, and all sorts of fun things," Brucker said.

His 2011 Shelby Ford GT-500, nicknamed the "chemo cab," has become a symbol of hope and joy for fellow cancer patients.

"But it's more of just one-on-one time to sit with other patients and just talk about going through treatments and, you know, something that we can relate together on, and something that we've both been through so kind of intimate setting where we can just sit back and have a nice conversation with each other," Brucker said.
When he found out he had cancer, he bought his dream car. Now, he brings others along for the ride.
Brucker's mission is to make the cancer journey less daunting by creating moments of laughter during difficult times.

"Going through treatment with myself. It was kind of depressing going through it. So, I decided to kind of take the reins myself and decided to just have more fun with it. You know, it's, I think you can control, you know, your outcome, if you put your mind to it," Brucker said.

The upcoming Cruising for Cancer event will feature various vehicles and prizes to raise funds for local cancer patients.

"We'll have all sorts of trophies. We have a Best in Show prize table for the winner. Whoever brings the best in show out. It'll be all sorts of cars, any make or model, trucks, motorcycles. We just want everyone to come out, have a good time and, you know, raise awareness for colon cancer as well," Brucker said.

All proceeds from the event will benefit local cancer patients. For Brucker, supporting others has helped him discover his true purpose.

"It kind of gives me my purpose with this. The reason that I was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors don't know why, no family history or anything. So, this kind of helps me find purpose through it and gives me a reason to keep fighting," he said.

Despite his ongoing battle, Brucker remains optimistic about his future.

"We're on the upward trend, so it's looking good. But, you know, compared to the diagnosis I was given in the beginning, it's a heck of a lot better. So, I'm stubborn, so I'm still here," Brucker said.

Cruising for Cancer is Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to Noon at Libbie Mill Midtown.
The Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront celebrated its grand opening this week ahead of Saturday night's concert featuring Grammy-winner Rick Springfield.
The 7,500-capacity venue features about 800 seats in the pit area, which can be removed depending on the show, 2,500 fixed seats and a lawn large enough for about 4,200 fans.

"From the beginning, our goal was clear, to build a gathering place that reflects our rich history, celebrates its beauty, and invites the community to come together," Allianz Amphitheater General Manager Rebecca Street said.

The amphitheater is equipped with a grand stage measuring 100 feet wide and 40 feet deep, designed to attract major acts that previously may have bypassed Richmond.

"This is just yet another example where we're bringing like topflight venues, to bring in all kinds of music, to be a space where people can connect and enjoy what the city has to offer," Richmond Mayor Danny Avula said.

Avula emphasized the venue's importance to Richmond.
Inside look at Allianz Amphitheater, Richmond's new concert venue
"It is also a part of what every growing city needs, which is a place that people can come together and enjoy musical acts, and so I hope people would really embrace that, as we are a growing city with more and more of a national profile," he said.

Located in the heart of Downtown Riverfront at 350 Tredegar Street, the venue's initial lineup includes performers like Dave Matthews, James Taylor, Counting Crows, Boyz II Men, Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley, and Widespread Panic.

"The lineup so far this year looks amazing, and I hope to see you at a few of my favorite events. I know that I'll be at Dave Matthews. I'm also a James Taylor fan and Counting Crows," Allianz Chief Sales Officer Ricky Horowitz said.

Mayor Avula shared his own plans.

"I'm not able to make Dave Matthews, my wife is a huge fan, so she will be here. I was actually really excited about a non-musical event with Steve Martin and Martin Short. They're doing a show here, I think, in September, and hopefully I can make it to that one," he said.
Richmond's new Allianz Amphitheater opens with celebration and student performance
For concertgoers planning to attend events, Street recommends planning transportation in advance.

"There's over 8,000 spots on the traffic study that we did," Horowitz said. "So there's places that are within a 15-minute walk, which I think is incredible. The Valentine museum provides guided tours of this 125-acre site and hosts a new costume exhibit showcasing how Richmonders have dressed up through the centuries.

Hollywood Cemetery is a beautiful public green space that offers much more than just a final resting place for the deceased.

"It has these winding paths, so it's really helpful to have a guide who knows their way around. But that was the design," Sophia McCrimmon, the Valentine's Adult Programs and Tourist Manager, explained. "It was meant to be a place where 19th-century Richmonders could wander around for hours and get some time outside and some exercise."

The Valentine museum offers 90-minute Highlights of Hollywood Cemetery tours where visitors can explore the site's rich history.

"We walk through some notable gravesites, we talk about some of the figures who are buried at Hollywood, we share their stories and their impact on Richmond history. We go to President's Circle, where James Monroe and John Tyler are buried, and we take in that view of downtown Richmond and the James River," McCrimmon said.

Founded in 1849, the cemetery includes a Confederate memorial that forms an important part of the tour experience.

"So Hollywood was founded in 1849, so it was not a Civil War cemetery, but after the Civil War, it did kind of become something of a Confederate shrine, and we explore that history as well," McCrimmon said.

The walking tours happen every other Saturday morning, with weekly tours available in July and August. Visitors should come prepared with comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat as tours proceed rain or shine.

"But most of all, it's just a really nice experience to get outside, get a beautiful walk in, learn some history, reflect on these figures, reflect on the design behind these burial sites, the landscape design, and just to appreciate this really remarkable site in Richmond," McCrimmon said.

Back at the Valentine museum, visitors can explore "Fancy Costumes, Characters, and the Richmond Masque," the museum's first costume exhibition since 2020.

"It's our first costume and textiles exhibition since 2020. And it's looking at the many ways Richmonders have played dress up from the 19th century, to the modern-day," Nichol Gabor, the Valentine's exhibit curator, said.

The exhibit features diverse items ranging from Gwar masks to 19th-century ballgowns and Halloween costumes.

"We have invitations, masks, hats," Gabor said. "There's about 34 full mannequins, and then I'd say maybe a half dozen objects that are more accessories or objects that aren't costumes."

The Valentine is open Tuesday through Sunday with extended hours on Thursdays. "Many of the botanicals on display are from their own gardens."

Mitchell said the Tuesday tour will begin at Historic Tuckahoe and folks will take a short shuttle to the five homes in the neighborhood.

Historic Tuckahoe will host a native plant sale during Tuesday's tour.

Wednesday tours, sponsored by the Council of Historic Richmond, will take visitors to Pope Avenue on Richmonds Northside for the first time.

"I know many times that I've driven on Hermitage, and I've noticed that stone arch and wondered what's down there or who lives down there," GCV Richmond Wednesday Tour Co-Chair Ellie Lenhart said. Doug Wilder, the man who made history in 1990 as the first African American to serve as governor of a U.S. state since Reconstruction and the first African American ever elected as governor, is celebrating a milestone birthday on Friday.
The former Virginia governor turning 94 continues to inspire people near and far.

"It means a great deal, because when I was coming up, if someone got to be 60, that was considered old," Wilder told Antoinette Essa at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at VCU.
Black History Month: Douglas Wilder
"The other thing it means to me is, what have you done with it, and what are you trying to do?" Wilder said. "Being here gives me such an opportunity to continue to do that which I tried to do, and that is to be connecting with the people as it relates to the affairs of governance and what it means."

That's one way he stays active; the other is exercise.

"Try to keep a regimen of walking and action, and I remember an old man said this to me, and I say old man, he probably was in his 60s at the time," Wilder recalled. "He said, 'If you take a healthy body into old age, it'll sustain you in your later years.'"

Along with physical health, he emphasizes the importance of mental clarity.

"If you think of yourself as being old and aging, that's what you're going to be: old and aging. But if you think of yourself as wanting to be healthy, watching what you eat, exercising, dieting, and getting proper sleep and rest, and, more importantly, with all of the physical aspects, is the mental part, and you've got to clear the mind."

Lawrence Douglas Wilder was born in 1931 in Church Hill. He attended Virginia Union and Howard universities, served in the army during the Korean War, and received a Bronze Star Medal.

Wilder, who served in the Virginia Senate from 1970 to 1986, was the first African American to hold statewide office in Virginia as the 35th Lieutenant Governor and made history again as the 66th Governor of Virginia. His legacy also includes serving as Richmond's 78th mayor by popular vote.

When it comes to public service, his message is clear for those in power.

"Their job is to represent the people, not entities, but the people," Wilder said. "The bottom line is governance and government need to remember one thing that I think is so important: what Lincoln said, 'But it's not in practice of for and by the people, government of the people, by the people, for the people.'"
Video Vault 2004 November: Doug Wilder elected mayor of Richmond
The former governor continues to stay busy with lectures and appointments, but one project remains close to his heart: the completion of the Slavery Museum at VUU.

"That's the one thing that I am working on still, and want to continue to see to its fulfillment," Wilder said.

While he also wants to write a second book, he is also reflecting on his legacy.

"Well, sure you don't want it to be dishonored, but I'd like it to be something like I did the best I could with what I had," Wilder said. "I like the opportunity to continue to talk with people, meet with people, resolve, as you see here, and I still get lots of mail."

The former governor will celebrate his birthday Saturday at a jazz concert featuring two of his favorite musicians, Jonathan Butler and Gerald Albright. It's also a chance to reconnect with family and friends.

"Sometimes people that we never get a chance to see each other never get a chance to exchange other than an email message, but it's an opportunity for us now to see each other and touch each other and say hello," Wilder said.

Saturday's concert at the Richmond Convention Center starting at 3 p.m. is a celebration for a man whos spent a lifetime making history.
CBS 6 is committed to sharing community voices on this important topic. Email your thoughts to the CBS 6 Newsroom. : CONNECT WITH US Blue Sky | Facebook | Instagram | X | Threads | TikTok | YouTube

"And then crossing over the new year to now project new growth in a clear place for the year ahead."

This years celebration will kick off with the African Market at 1 p.m. followed by the candle lighting ceremony, entertainment, Watoto Kwanzaa, food, workshops, and performances.

"The festival, of course, is not the holiday, but the festival certainly brings the entire community and visitors together to celebrate the holiday," Bell said. "So we want to invoke the spirit of Kwanzaa right away."

The seven candles represent Nguzo Saba, or the seven principles of Kwanzaa, and are each symbolized by the Pan-African colors of red, black and green. The candles are lit in a specific order, starting with the black candle for Umoja: unity.

"Then the first red candle is Kujichagulia: self-determination," Bell explained. "Ujima: collective work and responsibility, Ujamaa: cooperative economics, Nia: purpose, Kuumba: creativity and Imani: faith."

The event from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. takes place in the convention center's Exhibit Hall B, which is near 5th & Marshall Streets.

Tickets are $6 in advance, $7 at the door with student and senior discounts available. Admission is free for children under 12.

Attendees will also hear from Dr. Gina Paige, co-founder of African Ancestry, a company that connects people with their African roots through DNA testing.

"Everybody who buys a ticket online will be entered into the drawing to receive the free DNA testing that will happen on stage that day," Bell said.

CBS 6 is a proud sponsor of the Capital City Kwanzaa Festival. Click here for more information.
Do you know about a good news story happening in your community? Click here to email WTVR.com and the CBS 6 News team.

This year's CarMax Tacky Light Run will feature a tweaked course in the Walton Park neighborhood in Midlothian on Saturday, according to organizers.

Coralview Roadc has been inspired by Dawn Ridge Court, which is also known as Christmas Court.

"So this year, we actually changed the course so that instead of going down Dawn Ridge, you'll go down Coralview to give it some love and to see a whole other aspect of the neighborhood," Nan Callahan, Sports Backers' PR and communications manager, explained. "Then we plan to trade off every other year which way the course goes."

Midlothian Mines Park will once again be transformed into the staging area for the beloved event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

"This is a great place for people to gather before the event, enter our costume contest, look around, and enjoy all of the decorations that we have set up," Callahan said. "Then this is where they finish as well, so it's a great place to get that party going after the event."

To celebrate the event's 12th anniversary, participants will have a chance to wear a festive hat with highlights from previous Tacky Light Runs.

"And the same goes for our finisher shirt; participants can pick between a shirt or a hat," Callahan said. "And the same applies to our medal it's a little snow globe that has a bunch of different elements from every year pulled into it, and it's glittery. I know people love a glittery Christmas tree ornament, so it doubles as an ornament."

Costumes are also a favorite part of the experience.

"This is a great way to see tacky lights on foot," Callahan said. "And what better way to get active during the holidays?"

Getting to the course is easy: park at Bright Point Community College or one of several other parking spots and jump on the Polar Express shuttle.

"The shuttles will be running continuously from those lots to the North Pole, from 4 to 9 p.m.," Callahan said.

There will also be a limited shuttle service starting at 2:15 p.m. for the Twilight 1-Mile Kids Run.

Pets are not allowed, but strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. Participants are encouraged to light up their chairs so they can see and be seen. And come ready to have fun.

"Even if you're a runner, typically, this is a great event to walk," Callahan said. "I've had family members come out and walk it every year, so that's one of my favorite things about this event: it really is something that everybody can do, no matter your fitness level."

The Tacky Light Run is a nighttime event, so dress accordingly. Click here to register or get more information.
CBS 6 is committed to sharing community voices on this important topic. Email your thoughts to the CBS 6 Newsroom. : CONNECT WITH US Facebook|Instagram|X|Threads|TikTok

A Varina High School student is the brains behind this weekend's Keepin' It-N-Da Pocket Jam Session, an afternoon of entertainment in Church Hill to celebrate "community, music and the art of percussion."

Kenya Sarai Grooms came up with the jam session with her mom, Richmond radio icon Clovia Lawrence.

"The event is for musicians and people who just value the essence of music, even though it's teen-led," Grooms said. "It's not just for teens, it's for people from 9 to 99. If you love the essence of music, this event is for you."

Lawrence said she and her daughter worked "tirelessly" to organize the event.

"Keepin' It-N-Da Pocket basically means like staying on beat," the 17-year-old said. "It's just how James Browns drummer was, he always kept it in the pocket, which means he kept the same rhythm."

Grooms, who has been immersed in music since she was 3, said she was inspired by some of the greatest names in entertainment.

"I saw Sheila E. growing up, I always watched Sheila E. and so many great bands, the Gap Band," the teen said. "It was so many great bands I saw growing up."

It was not long ago that the Varina senior was crafting her skills, a passion and talent she credits to something deeper.

"It was just always in me," Grooms said. "I think it was a God-given talent because ever since I was young, I just love the art of beating and just creating rhythm, and that's just always been inside of me."

Lawrence said her daughter has always responded to music.

"You know, 'Blues Clues' and all of the other kiddie shows are really great," Lawrence said. "But when I put on a West Montgomery or Sheila E. in concert, or Mandrill in concert, or Steely Dan, she's, like, really excited, and she's paying attention, and she wants to be a part of it."

Early on, the young drummer practiced on anything she could find, including the walls at home.

"That's where it started for me, beating on the walls," Grooms said. "And then I got my plastic drum set and then each year for Christmas, it got mature and better and better."

So she had her first set of professional drums at eight and then she joined the School of Communications and Media Relations at Varina High School.

Grooms, now a high school senior, wants to major in broadcast journalism with a minor in music and to one day host a talk show that will make a difference in her community.

For this talented musician, music has been more than just a hobby. It has been a source of strength during some tough times.

"In my middle school years, I was going through a terrific kind of bad time during that school year," Grooms said. "And then when I played certain beats, certain rhythms, my mood just got lifted. And thats what I want this event to do for people."

A portion of the proceeds will benefit a summer music leadership academy, helping to inspire the next generation of musicians.

The Keepin' It-N-Da Pocket Jam Session is next Saturday, Nov. 23 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Robinson Theater in Church Hill. Click here for ticket info.
CBS 6 is committed to sharing community voices on this important topic. Email your thoughts to the CBS 6 Newsroom. : CONNECT WITH US Facebook|Instagram|X|Threads|TikTok

The Richmond Folk Festival is marking its 20th year on Richmond's iconic riverfront by "bringing back some great artists" the three-day event has featured over the past two decades.

We're really excited to have made it 20 years here on the downtown Richmond riverfront, Venture Richmond Marketing and Communications Director Erika Gay said.

The free festival, beloved by thousands, showcases music, dance, and cultural performances from across the U.S. and around the world. Performances will be spread across six stages this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Gay said organizers are excited to feature artists "that people have just loved" over the past 20 years.

Some of the popular acts set to return include Bombino, Wayne Henderson & Friends, the legendary Ingramettes, and Trouble Funk, among others.

This year, construction at the riverfront has prompted some changes to the layout.

To accommodate for that, we've moved two stages up to the corner of 2nd and Spring Street, Gay explained. Because the festival site is a little more spread out than it has been in the past, we're offering a free shuttle.

The shuttle will have two stopsone at 2nd and Spring Street and the other at Brown's Island on Tredegar Street. Another shuttle will run from the off-site parking lot at Dogwood Dell for $5 on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, street parking and parking decks are available.

There is handicapped parking for the festival. It's in the Federal Reserve parking deck, and that's on Byrd Street, between 5th and 7th Street, Gay added.

While service animals are welcome, festival organizers ask that pets be left at home. For those unable to attend in person, performances from the Altria Stage will be live-streamed on VPM.

For the hearing impaired, several of the stages will have American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, and you can check the festival website for details on which artists are being signed and where.

The festival will go on rain or shine. The pocket guide, available online, provides all the essential information for attendees.

Its a time to come together and share music, arts, crafts, food and dance, Gay said. Everybody just recognizes that we all share the same values and fun.
Do you know about a good news story happening in your community? Click here to email WTVR.com and the CBS 6 News team.
