Missing man with autism found safe in Ashland

RICHMOND, Va. — Rodney W. Jones has been found safe in Ashland Monday afternoon, according to police.

Police asked for help finding Rodney W. Jones. Jones, 24, has autism and may be unfamiliar with the area, police said. He was last seen Sunday morning near his home in the 4200 block of Chamberlayne Avenue.

Jones was described as a 6-foot, 1-inch tall black male who weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has dark hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown boots and a black, green and yellow football jersey with Jamaica written on the back.
