HENRICO- Fire crews responded to a house fire early Saturday morning.
Units arrived to the 100 block of E Laburnum Ave in Henrico at 7:38 A.M.
When they arrived, the found smoke coming from the front door of a single story residence.
Once inside, crews found fire in the crawl space of the home. The fire was around the floor furnace and in the floor of the home, according to Henrico Fire.
There was moderate fire and smoke damage done to the residence.
The fire did extend from the furnace to the floor surrounding it and up the chimney area into the attic.
The fire was extinguished and marked under control at 8:06 A.M.
The fire originated at the floor furnace of the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
One adult is displaced and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
