RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) -- Independent Filmmakers now have a place to debut their films in Richmond, the New Art and Independent Film Theater at Boulevard Square. Bow Tie Cinemas expands with Criterion Cinemas at Movieland, a four-screen theater adjacent to the Original Bow Tie Movieland.
The New Art and Independent Film Theater has stadium seating, leather seats with memory foam head rests, digital projection and sound, free parking and concessions, and will feature documentaries, independent and foreign films.
Opening day is Friday, December 28, the box office opens at 11am, first film is at noon, films include, Berlin International Film Festival Winner, "A Royal Affair", the Ken Burns documentary "Central Park Five and several others.
