(CNN) – That back-to-school haircut may already be looking a little scruffy. But if you can stand to wait until November, your kid’s next cut could be free. J.C. Penney announced the promotion in an email to customers.
Starting in November, every Sunday is free haircut day for kids from kindergarten to 6th grade. The company already did a free back-to-school haircuts promotion in August and snipped away locks from more than one-point-six million little heads.
The announcement came from J.C. Penney’s C-E-O, who joined the retailer last year after working for Apple. This is just part of a new series of initiatives aimed at revamping the company which lost 147-million dollar during the second quarter.
