BON AIR -
Virginia GrandDriver (a program by the Virginia Department for the Aging), AAA-Mid Atlantic, and Sheltering Arms invites senior drivers to participate in CarFit, a senior driver safety program on Friday, September 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bon Air Baptist Church in Richmond.
CarFit will help seniors and their caregivers make easy adjustments to their vehicles to compensate for natural changes that occur with aging.
Specially trained technicians will lead each senior driver through a 15-20 minute, 12-point CarFit checklist as they sit behind the wheel of their own vehicle.
Drivers will learn adjustments to help make their vehicles "fit" better to enhance their safety.
To schedule a CarFit appointment please call 323-6512 or to find out additional information about Virginia GrandDriver please visit www.granddriver.net.
