CENTRAL VIRGINIA - A follow-up to a CBS 6 Exclusive.

Last week we showed you video of three armed men robbing a Prince George Hotel. Now, several other police departments think the same guys may be responsible for similar crimes in Central Virginia.

"He was demanding money and he kept telling him, I'm not playing, I know there is more money in here in the bank, and just took the butt of the gun and hit him across the forehead, split his forehead open," says Sgt. Tom Kifer of Colonial Heights Police.

September 25th, two masked men armed with guns robbed the clerk at Candlewood Suites in Hopewell.

"The offender put a gun right to the victims head, so obviously she was in great danger," says Lt. Joe Sumner of Hopewell Police.

Two days later, three men are caught on tape robbing a Holiday Inn Express in Prince George County.

"The descriptions of the suspects, what they were wearing, what firearms were used, and also the get a way vehicle matches," says Lt. Brian Kei of Prince George County Police.

When Richmond Police arrest three men for a bank robbery September 30th, the suspects fit the descriptions for the other robberies.

Colonial Heights charge Joseph Roach and Kenneth Reed with five counts each in connection to this bank robbery.

Prince George County Police say charges could be coming soon for their hotel robbery with in the next few weeks.

Hopewell Police are investigating to see if they're also responsible for their hotel robbery.

And clerks tell CBS 6, they just hope the gunmen are stopped before someone gets seriously hurt.

"We don't want it to happen to us, much less anybody else and between the economy and the holidays coming on, I only feel like its going to get worse," says Kelly Clark, General Manager of Candlewood Suites.

Richmond Police have charged Johnson, Roach and Reed with robbery, attempted robbery and use of a firearm. Roach and Reed face similar charges in Colonial Heights.

Prince George and Hopewell believe charges will be made with in the next few weeks.
