About 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Monument Avenue, police say a couple was robbed at gunpoint inside their apartment. Investigators say one of the men was armed with a taser, and the other with a gun.

The female victim, who did not want to reveal her identity, tells CBS 6 she was inside her apartment and her boyfriend was outside when two men approached him. She says her boyfriend thought they were from the cable company and let them inside.

Once inside, she says one of the men put a gun to his face and said they were U.S. Marshals.

"They told me to face forward and don't look at them", said the victim.

She said she was forced into the bathroom, and her boyfriend stayed in the bedroom with the suspects who she said were trying to tie him up with a belt. He pleaded with them, she said.

The victim says the suspects then let her out of the bathroom, and told her to lay down on the bed face down. Then suspects then grabbed her purse then left.

A short time later, police caught one of the suspects but the other one is still at large. If you have any information that could help police, call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
