RICHMOND—
State Police tell CBS 6 News they were executing a raid on a second home in Amelia at the same time of Tuesday's deadly shooting and raid in Dinwiddie County.45 year old James "Jimbo" Hicks was shot and killed by federal agents serving a search warrant. Authorities aren't saying that that warrant was for. Hicks' family says he never pointed or fired a gun at police, but troopers tell a different story. State Police say they are continuing to investigate.
CBS 6 has also learned Hicks was a member of the Pagans Motorcycle Club. Police say both raids are related to a multi-state investigation involving the Pagans. They added the timing of Tuesday's raids coincided with the arrests of dozens of Pagans.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday for James Hicks. CBS 6 News will be at the service and we'll have an update on the news at 11.
