Petersburg postal worker says shots fired towards her. (July 23, 2009)
PETERSBURG -
Petersburg Police are looking for some children who allegedly shot at a postal worker Thursday afternoon. Police say it happened around 1:30 p.m. near Augusta and Patterson Avenues.
A postal carrier tells them three juveniles fired a weapon towards her. A witness tells police he saw three young boys who seemed to be under the age of 12 walking with a gun. To him he says it appeared to be a BB gun.
The U.S. Postal Service tells CBS 6 that they are also investigating the incident.
The carrier was not injured and finished her route.
