ORANGE COUNTY -
One woman is dead following a Wednesday morning accident involving an Orange County school bus.
VA State police say the three-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Route 20 and Route 611 in Locust Grove around 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Police say a 2005 Honda car hit a 1996 Mitsubishi car as the Mitsubishi entered the intersection.
Police say the driver of the Mitsubishi, 44-year-old Julie Loving of Montpelier, died on her way to the hospital. Her 15 year-old daughter and five year-old child were not injured.
The impact of that crash sent both cars into an Orange County school bus.
Neither the driver, nor the two small children on the bus were seriously hurt.
Orange County schools started classes two weeks ago.
