HANOVER - First on 6: A Hanover woman hits the gas and blacks out behind the wheel and her pick up truck slams into her garage wall. And if that wasn't bad enough, she got stuck.

But a man renting one of her rooms came to her rescue, just in the nick of time.

As the garage quickly filled with smoke, not knowing if the truck is on fire, the Hanover County Sheriff's Deputy runs in to pull his landlord to safety.

The truck tires still spinning out of control, so much so, burning rubber and chunks of concrete are left on the garage floor.

And Faye Cosby says she doesn't remember a thing

"I remember pulling up in the drive, then waking up in the ambulance."

At the hospital, doctors run all kinds of tests.

"I didn't know if it was a heart attack or a stroke."

And tell Faye nothing major is wrong, she just fainted.

She's just glad it wasn't a lot worse.

"We could've been on the street and I could've hurt somebody else. I'm fortunate and feel blessed that all I hit was the wall."

The truck's impact was so hard, both air bags deployed.
