HENRICO - Funeral services were held Saturday for a member of the Pagans Motorcycle Club, shot and killed during a raid on his home.

Dozens of members of the Pagans showed up to remember James Hicks at Saturday's service, held at the Nelson Funeral Home on Laburnum Avenue. In addition, a number of undercover police officers and federal agents were also present, just in case anything happened at the service. But nothing did.

Hicks was killed Tuesday morning at his home in Dinwiddie when The ATF and State Police attempted to serve a Federal search warrant.

State Police say Hicks was shot when he refused to drop his shotgun, a claim his family adamantly disputes.
