In an exclusive interview with CBS 6, the parents of of 20 year-old Jessica Pascual says they want answers.

It's been more than two months since her body was found outside a museum district apartment complex, but her death has not been determined.

One part of the puzzle sits in the state lab. That's where toxicology tests are being done on the the 20 year-old. CBS 6 wanted to know, why has it taken so long? Pascual was discovered dead on June 10, 2009.

A lab spokesperson says "...an eight to ten week turnaround time on a toxicology case is not out of the general norm, particularly if the toxicology analysis becomes complex. I cannot comment on or assess the specific circumstances on the ongoing lab work on this case..."

The victim's father, Xuaco Pascual says " I want them to be thorough. I want them to be accurate". But with no guarantee on when or even if they'll get answers, the victim's father, mother and brother are left with time to think about Jessica.

"She had a smile that just lit up a room...I hope to be left with a scar I an deal with. I don't think I'll ever heal," says Xuaco Pascual.
