CHESTERFIELD POLICE PRESS RELEASE:
The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place this morning at the Wachovia bank branch at 6435 Iron Bridge Road.
Police responded to the bank at 9:09 a.m. for a report of robbery. They were notified that a man had entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The man fled on foot toward the back of Iron Gate Shopping Center with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a small goatee, sideburns and a mustache. He wore a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black hat. He also wore sunglasses.
