RICHMOND, VA—
A motorcycle rider is dead and a van driver is injured after a serious crash that happened in south Richmond Tuesday afternoon.Richmond police say Darrin Tracy Williams, 41, died at the scene after his motorcycle and the van collided just after 1:00 p.m. on Walmsley Boulevard near Falling Creek Circle.
The van's driver taken to CJW Medical Center with minor injuries. Investigators are still trying to figure out what lead to the crash.
Walmsley Boulevard was closed for about two and a half hours.
The investigation is on-going.
