ALEXANDRIA - The brother of one of five Americans captured in Pakistan says his brother is a good guy.

The brother, who would only give his nickname `Zam,' said Ramy Zamzam is a "normal Joe" who has a 4.0 grade point average at Howard University.

Zamzam's younger brother made the comments Wednesday night while going into their Alexandria apartment.

Frantic relatives and worried FBI agents had been searching for the five men for more than a week. They were discovered in Pakistan Wednesday.

The missing men, ranging in age from 19 to 25, have family roots in the northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., area. Zamzam, is a dental student at Howard.

The five are are under investigation for possible terrorism links following discovery of a farewell video quoting the Quran.
