White House Party Crashers Well-Known VA Socialites
The Secret Service is investigating how a Virginia couple crashed the Obamas' first official state dinner on Tuesday. Michaele and Tareq Salahi weren't on the guest list, but the pair managed to mix, mingle, and take photos - slipping away before organizers realized they didn't have seats at one of the tables.

They later posted photos on Facebook, posing with Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel, and the mayor of Washington, D.C.

The Salahis are well known in the Washington social scene. In fact, CBS 6 has done stories on them before when we visited their winery in Northern Virginia.

They run the Oasis Vineyard in Fauquier County and play polo regularly.

The couple is reportedly hoping to land roles on an upcoming Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of DC". Michaele is also a former Redskins cheerleader.

An attorney who has represented the couple in the past told the Associated Press, "They just went to a party, they didn't do anything wrong." The couple's publicist says Tareq and Michaele won't comment right now but they look forward to setting the record straight very soon.

This is the first time in history a couple has managed to crash a formal state dinner. The Secret Service insists the president and the other dignitaries were never in danger. The Salahis passed through security before they entered the party.
