Police Investigate String of Armed Robberies
Police in the tri-cities are looking for a suspect caught on tape holding up several area businesses. All three happened withing the last week at the Prince George Valero, the Hopewell Quality Inn, and a Dinwiddie Convenience Store.

Police say in each robbery, the suspect demands money and threatens the clerks with a sawed-off shotgun.

Lt. Brian Kei with Prince George County Police says he wants to arrest the man before anyone gets hurt. "He had his hands and fingers covered with the sweatshirt ." Kei said. "With it bunched in and with is finger on the trigger, it would have been real easy for an accidental shot to be fired."

Investigators believe the suspect has an accomplice that's helping him get away.
