RICHMOND -
The Black Friday deals didn't stop at retailers. The Richmond SPCA also offered a special 25% Black Friday discount on adoptions on black cats and dogs.
The SPCA says they hope the discount means more pets will have homes for the holidays. "We have so many wonderful pets here who have so much love to give and there's nothing more that they want for the holidays than a permanent home." said Robin Starr.
The organization reports that as of 5pm Friday, 4 black dogs and 3 black cats were adopted.
