RICHMOND - Murder suspect Michael Solomon appeared before a Richmond judge Tuesday morning where a judge denied his request for bond. Solomon is due back in court in late August.

A search warrant obtained by CBS 6 shows a number of items police seized from Solomon's car.

The items include a knife, two pocket knives, a piece of a purple glove, duct tape and swabs of unidentified red stains.

Investigators also spoke with a witness who says he noticed Solomon's Chevy Malibu parked outside of the home he shared with his girlfriend Tameka Claiborne the day she disappeared.

Claiborne's body was found on a bank of the James River last Friday morning. The Medical Examiner tells CBS 6 the Richmond mother was stabbed to death.

Police say Solomon is the main suspect in Claiborne's murder and tell CBS 6 they expect Solomon to be charged with her murder in the coming days. He is charged with the abduction of Claiborne's young son who was found unharmed wandering alone in a Chesterfield apartment complex last week.
