The Department of Defense is reporting a soldier from Richmond is unaccounted for since going on a resupply mission two weeks ago.
Brandon Islip, 23, is listed as Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown (DUSTWUN) as he serves Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
A soldier from Massachusetts, 21-year-old Benjamin Sherman, was killed during that same resupply mission.
The DOD says they continue to look for Islip and are investigating the incident.
