Saturday another busy day for Virginia State Police
RICHMOND - Saturday was another busy day for Virginia State Police, thanks in large part to the latest winter storm to hit the Richmond area.

Sgt. Thomas Molnar tells CBS 6 that from midnight Friday thru 6:00 a.m. Sunday, troopers responded to 1,535 accidents, two of which were deadly. Three people were killed in those crashes.

140 people suffered injuries in wrecks on Virginia roads.

Virginia State Police say they also tallied more than 1,699 disabled vehicles during the storm.
