PETERSBURG -
A business with a 100 year history in Petersburg is reportedly shutting down today, just two weeks before Christmas.
Several media outlets are reporting Roper Brothers Lumber will close all of its locations today. CBS 6 has confirmed that at least three locations (Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, and Winchester) across the state will close today, but calls to the owner, Phil Roper have not been returned yet. The Winchester location had already shut down this morning.
The company serves primarily professional home builders, providing lumber, engineered wood products, millwork, interior and exterior doors, among others.
