RICHMOND—
A late-night shooting sends one man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.Richmond Police were in the area of N. 27th Street and Nine Mile Road when they heard gunshots around 11:30 pm Wednesday. Police say they found one victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center for surgery. There's no word on the victim's condition at this time.
Officers shut down two blocks of Nine Mile Road for 1 1/2 hours.
Police say they have no leads in the case.
