Elementary School Students Accused of Calling in Threat Won't Face Charges
POWHATAN - Two Powhatan elementary schoolers will not face charges after allegedly calling in a threat that put their school on lockdown.

Police say a 6-year-old and another student made the call to Flat Rock elementary school Thursday morning, claiming there was a weapon inside the school.

The school was placed on lockdown for about half an hour until investigators determined the threat was a hoax.
