Governor-elect Bob McDonnell vows to come through on his pledge to reopen the rest stops recently closed by VDOT.
A McDonnell spokesperson confirms that the republican will reopen those shuttered rest areas within 90 days of taking office. It was a promise he made on the campaign trail.
