HANOVER COUNTY -
Mechanicsville Turnpike is back open after a logging truck overturns as it exited Interstate 295 this morning.
The Hanover County Sheriff's department says the driver of the truck was going too fast on the exit ramp causing it to overturn.
The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. He's being charged with reckless driving.
It took crews several hours to remove the logs from the road causing major traffic backups.
