For years CBS 6 Reporter Jon Burkett has been going where the story is, and sometimes that means putting himself in the path of storms to bring you the storm stories.So when Hurricane Earl formed in the Atlantic Ocean, Jon was among the first CBS 6 reporters to volunteer for the assignment.
Jon was on the Outer Banks when Hurricane Earl brushed by the coast Friday morning.
