A raccoon in Henrico County has tested positive for rabies.
Henrico authorities say two dogs killed a raccoon in the 11000 block of Old Mountain Road on Wednesday morning. The raccoon later tested positive for rabies.
Both of the dogs were up to date on their vaccinations. They're being quarantined at home.
Henrico County authorities want to remind all pet owners to keep their animals' shots up to date.
