Henrico Schools Spokesman Mychael Dickerson tells CBS 6 grief counselors will be on hand tomorrow at the schools of two brothers, killed in a house fire.
9-year-old Aaron Brown attended Virginia Randolph Education Center.
16-year-old Ashton Black was a student at Henrico High School. Dickerson says Black was a popular student, and had many friends at other schools. Because of that, counselors will also be available at those other schools tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the cause of Friday night's house fire is still under investigation.
UPDATE: 11/7/09- 11:00 p.m.
A Henrico family, reeling from the death of two young boys in a house fire, took comfort in the heroic actions of a loving brother.
When an outbreak of flames threatened the lives of 16-year-old Ashton Black and 9-year-old Aaron Brown, the elder boy ran back into a burning house to try and save his younger autistic brother, according to relatives.
"For me to know that he went back into that house, when he saw Aaron was not out," managed sister Asheli Black, fighting back tears, "I find it to be like Superman, a hero."
Henrico Fire officials could not confirm the sequence of events preceding the Friday blaze.
When firefighters arrived on scene at 7:50 Friday, they found two boys trapped inside of their Johnson Road home.
Both were ultimately transported to VCU Medical Center for treatment. Ashton died from fire-related injuries on Friday, and Aaron on Saturday evening.
Classmates and relatives describe Ashton as a jokester and optimist, "the kind of person who would make you laugh, even if you were sad," said middle school friend Donnell Canada.
He sang in the gospel choir at Henrico High School, and enjoyed playing basketball.
Younger brother Aaron was a "loveable" child and an avid fan of Sponge Bob.
