The Colonial Heights man who tried to outrun police during a 50 mile chase with three children in his van pleaded guilty to six felony charges.

Glenn Fuselier, Jr. appeared in court Tuesday morning and entered the guilty plea for felony assault of a police officer, felony eluding, felony destruction of property and three charges of felony child neglect.

Fuselier faces five years on each charge, for a total of 30 years, when he's sentenced in October.

The chase happened back in February. Officers tried to pull over Fuselier's van for an expired inspection sticker and Fuselier tried to outrun them. The pursuit traveled through Prince George, Charles City, Henrico and Chesterfield before ending when the van flipped on Interstate 95.

Three children, all under the age of 5, were pulled from the wreckage, but none was hurt.

Fuselier is known in the community after suffering severe burns during a campfire incident in Dinwiddie County back in 2006.
