FARMVILLE—
Behind a fence, far from the public's eye, sits another crucial piece of evidence in the tragic murders of four people in Farmville.Police say Pastor Mark Neiderbrock's white Honda Civic was stolen and wrecked by 20 year old Sam McCroskey after the alleged murders of Neiderbrock, his estranged wife, Dr. Debra Kelley, their 16 year old daughter, Emma, and her 18 year old friend, Melanie Wells of West Virginia.
So far McCroskey has only been charged with Mark Neiderbrock's death. Police say they are waiting on forensic evidence before further charges are made.
In another development today, McCroskey's Richmond attorney, Cary Bowen met with Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Ennis behind closed doors Monday morning. Neither are discussing details of the meeting.
Police and the Commonwealth's Attorney are being careful about the details released in this case. They fear the high profile case could taint a jury pool in both the Grand Jury investigation and trial.
