It's been nearly two weeks since Pastor Mark Neiderbrock, his estranged wife Dr. Debra Kelly, their teenage daughter Emma and her friend were found murdered inside Kelly's home.

Emma's friend Sam McCroskey has been charged in the death of her father, while charges are said to be pending in the other three deaths.

Acting police Chief Wade Stimpson tells CBS 6 McCroskey is "still not cooperating" and says he's not remorseful for what he's allegedly done.

The Chief says they plan to charge McCroskey with those three other murders as early as Saturday.

As this investigation continues to unfold, the community has been pulling together to remember this tragedy and others like it. Two dozen people gathered outside the Madeline house to remember, to reflect, to grieve for all victims of domestic violence. "We want people to be aware that we are here to help," said Madeline House organizer Cindy Taylor.

Through prayers and poems, Longwood University students and people from the community say they're finding comfort. Much needed, they say, after 4 people were found brutally murdered inside Farmville home two weeks ago.

20 year-old Sam McCroskey has been named the sole suspect. The California native was arrested at Richmond International Airport, one day after the bodies were discovered. So far, he has just been charged with the only murder of Mark Niederbrock

The sad irony is that Farmville is reliving this tragedy during a time when domestic violence support groups have gathered to remember the victims of other crimes. "People need to be aware that it does happen more than they think," said Longwood University student Amy Donaldson. "Events like this really show how strong we are and how we are willing to come together," said Longwood University student Ashley Maser.

And organizers say even though it's painful, they want the public to know their lives and others should not be forgotten. "The number one way to stop domestic violence is by educating the public. And with this horrible tragedy, we hope to bring some good by putting Madeline's house out there. So, maybe something like this doesn't have to happen again."

Organizers started the Madeline House over a decade ago. It's named after Madeline Mitchell who was shot and killed by her husband because friends say, she had nowhere to turn. Some Longwood University students raised $40,000 last month to keep the shelter open. It had been in jeopardy of closing.
