FARMVILLE - 20-year-old Sam McCroskey, the young man accused of the Farmville slayings has been indicted in Prince Edward County this morning.

McCroskey was served with six capital murder indictments for the deaths of Melanie Wells, Emma Niederbrock, Debra S. Kelly and her estranged husband Mark Niederbrock. He was also indicted on one count of grand larceny.

The homicides occurred sometime between September 13 and September 18 inside the Farmville home where Kelley, a Longwood University professor, and Emma Niederbrock lived.

McCroskey remains at the Piedmont Regional Jail, where he has been held without bond.
