GLEN ALLEN, VA. - CBS 6 is following an internal investigation of the Henrico county police department.

It was sparked by an alleged incident involving a Glen Allen couple that happened right in front of their children. Gregory and Jenny High tell CBS 6, they were taunted and intimidated by Henrico police officers in their own home. "It was like a home invasion."

Gregory High says he wants justice, after what he calls police brutality at his home on October 30th. "I want the officers who offended my family, offended my character to answer for it," said Gregory High.

High says it all started when a Henrico police officer dressed in plainclothes, driving a mini-van followed him from East Parham Road to his Brant Lane home on October 27th.

He says the officer then came back later that day dressed in uniform and driving a patrol car. High invited him in and says the officer told him he noticed High driving erratically.

"He said do you remember me? He then instructed me that he was driving an unmarked vehicle and that he was doing an investigation on aggressive driving." When High and his wife threatened to call the officer's supervisor, he says the officer left.

But then three days later, High says that same officer returned to High's home, this time with his supervisor. High says the officer asked him to sign a reckless driving warrant.

But High wanted to read it first. And that's when things started to escalate.

"Two more officers had come into the home unannounced and then I had 4 officers trying to surround me while I'm trying to get in between the officers and my family," said High.

High showed CBS, the marks on his stomach where he says police tazered him several times. He says police threw his wife to the ground, tore her nightgown and bruised her arm. The High family also showed CBS 6, pictures of the bruises.

"I was drug out of the house in the rain with just one slipper on. I was taken to jail which I set for 3 or 4 hours until I was bailed out."

Henrico police won't comment on this case, saying it's an ongoing investigation. Internal Affairs is involved. Gregory High was convicted of several reckless driving charges in Henrico and Chesterfield, but says he paid the fines and served jail time.
