A rude awakening for residents of one Chesterfield County home.
A car smashed into the side of a home on Gates Green Drive around 4:00 this morning. Police tell us the driver hit a parked truck, a tree, and then ran into the side of the house.
Police believe the driver fell asleep. She has been charged with reckless driving and police are investigating whether alcohol contributed to the wreck.
