RICHMOND -
An SUV ran into a home at 1500 W. Laburnum Avenue early this morning. That's near Hermitage Avenue.
According to Richmond Police, the driver of the SUV lost control, hit a parked car then slammed into the home near the basement.
The driver was pulled from the vehicle and taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Donald McWilliams was charged with DUI and destruction of private property. He has been released from the hospital with minor injuries.
The home was empty at the time of the accident.
