CHARLES CITY COUNTY - Michael Solomon appeared in Richmond court Monday morning facing an abduction charge.

Solomon was arrested Friday on weapons and failure to pay child support charges.

He is now accused of abducting his girlfriend's 2-year-old son.

That child was found wandering alone in a Chesterfield County apartment complex last week.

The child is believed to now be in the custody of his biological father.

The body of the child's mother, Tameka Claiborne, was found Friday morning along the James River.

Police have yet to charge anyone with Claiborne's murder, however investigators tell CBS 6 Solomon will likely be charged with that crime in the coming days.

The family of Tameka Claiborne plans to hold a prayer vigil tomorrow night, Monday, at 8 p.m. on Duck River Road off Genito Road in Chesterfield County.

UPDATE SATURDAY A key piece of evidence in the death of Tameka Claiborne discovered today: the gold Chevy Malibu owned by Michael Solomon, Claiborne's boyfriend. He is now in the Richmond City jail.

It was located in the 1600 block of Autumn Woods Drive in Hopewell, in a parking spot at the Autumn Woods Apartments. The car was parked sideways.

CBS 6 was the first to have a crew on the scene.

The car had a spare tire on the driver's side, and no license plate. Richmond detectives say the car was found that way. Also, something to support Tameka's father's theory that other people were involved in the murder of his daughter is that people who live there say the car was not parked there last night.

It showed up this morning at around 9:30 a.m.

Also, CBS 6 has learned from the Medical Examiner's Office that the cause of death for Claiborne is sharp force injury of the neck. Sources tell CBS 6 she was stabbed to death.
