It sits on the corner of Brook and Parham Roads, has been home to hundreds of children,
and this weekend St Joseph's Villa will celebrate a milestone anniversary...175 years of serving the community.
The free event will start at 10:00 in the Villa chapel.
Throughout the day there will be music, a display of historic artifacts, children's activities,
a scavenger hunt and open houses of all the cottages for the public to get more information of the many programs offered on the campus of St. Joseph's Villa.
The new coffee table book, "St. Joseph's Villa," will be available for purchase at a special price
($25, reduced from $29.99).
The 128-page full-color book, published by Dementi Milestone Publishing,
presents a full history of St. Joseph's Villa and includes dozens of photographs from private collections that have never been gathered together before.
Lunch will also be available for $5.00.
