Ambulance Crashes on the Way to Emergency Call
An ambulance is involved in a crash on the way to an emergency call, sending another driver to the hospital.

Police say the driver of a Nissan Xterra was heading south on Belvidere Street Monday afternoon when it was crossing Broad Street. Witnesses say the SUV had a green light, but the ambulance heading east on Broad with lights and sirens flashing had the right of way.

The ambulance t-boned the SUV causing it to flip over. The Xterra driver was taken to VCU Medical Center with minor injuries, no one in the ambulance was hurt.

CBS 6 is working to find out if there will be any charges filed.
