Armed Robbery Suspect - Stafford County (Stafford County Sheriff's Office / November 5, 2009)

STAFFORD - The following is a media release from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

"The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in identifying two suspects who robbed a Rite Aid store in Stafford County Wednesday night.

The Rite Aid store at 1095 International Parkway was robbed at 9:10 p.m. by two suspects. One suspect entered the store posing as a customer and moments later the second suspect entered the store, armed with a hand gun, and demanded money from the clerk. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot.

A dark color pickup truck was then seen leaving the area. This truck may be the vehicle the suspects used. Earlier in the evening, Fauquier County reported that two armed robberies of similar nature with took place. The suspects in those armed robberies match the description of the Stafford robbery.

The first suspect who entered the store is described as a white male, 16-21 years of age, 5'6-5'8, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, a black cap, blue jeans, white shirt and black tennis shoes with some white on the shoes. This suspect had a pale complexion.

The second suspect was described as a white male, 16-21 years of age wearing a black ski mask with holes cut out around the eyes, nose and mouth. The suspect was 5'11- 6'0, wearing an "Element" black hooded sweatshirt, white tennis shoes and a baseball cap with a green skull type demon on the front. The suspect was also holding the gun in his left hand so he may be left handed.
