RICHMOND -
Gubernatorial candidates Bob McDonnell and Creigh Deeds both picked up endorsements Monday.
The National Rifle Association announced it's supporing Republican Bob McDonnell. The NRA's announcement reverses its decision four years ago to endorse Democrat Creigh Deeds in the race for attorney general. McDonnell beat out Deeds in that contest by just 360 votes.
Creigh Deeds also picked up an endorsement Monday. During a news conference in Virginia Beach, the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters association announced their support of the Democrat.
