ASHLAND HOLIDAY PARADE: The annual Ashland Old-Time Holiday parade steps off Sunday, November 22 at 2:30pm from Thompson and Snead Streets. It travels to John Gandy Elementary School .
FREE SYMPHONY CONCERT: Admission is free to The Richmond Symphony's Third annual "Come and Play" concert, this Sunday, November 22 at 6pm at the VCU Siegel Center. Plus, musicians of all ages and abilities are invited to perform at the concert with the Symphony's musicians. Rehearsal is at 2:30. There is a fee to participate: $5.00 for students 21 and younger, $10.00 for adults.
FREE OPERA CONCERT: Enjoy a free performance by Opera Theatre VCU this weekend. The program is called "Brush up your Shakespeare: A Gala of Shakespeare-based Opera Scenes", this Saturday evening at 7:30, with a repeat performance Sunday afternoon at 4 at the VCU Singleton Center at 922 Park Avenue. FREE JAZZ CONCERT: The University of Richmond Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo performs a free concert Monday night, November 23, at the UR Modlin Center. No tickets required for this free evening of classic big band music ranging from Latin to Bebop. Showtime is 7:30.
