You don't have to be a vegetarian to attend the 8th Annual Richmond Vegetarian Festival. Thousands are expected to Bryan Park Saturday to try healthy and delicious food, listen to some music and learn from speakers and cooking demonstrations.

You'll find Indian, Thai, African, Mediterranean, Mexican, Asian and American foods among others at the festival Saturday, June 19, from noon to 6 p.m. in the Azalea Gardens at Bryan park. It's a free event but organizers are asking that you bring a can of vegetables for the Lamb's Food Pantry or pop-top cans of pet food for the Richmond Animal League.
