The Latin Ballet of Virginia is taking on not one but two full productions and an dance event all in one month.
The first, "MUJERES", pays tribute to extraordinary women who have made a difference in Spanish and Latin American History.
The Ballet will perform "MUJERES" at the Gottwald Playhouse at Richmond Center Stage, 600 East Grace Street, Richmond. Show times 7:30pm March 19 & 20 and 3pm March 20 & 21.
The second production, "Passion, Love & Roses" also highlights several influential Spanish women like Evita Peron of Argentina. The production, under the direction of acclaimed dancer & choreographer, Antonio Hidalgo, will be at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, March 26 & 27, at 7:30pm.
And finally, Salsa Samba, a fun night of entertainment and dance lessons, Friday, March 13, from 9pm to 1am at Ipanema Grill, 3641 Cox Road. For more information on all these events call 804-379-2555 or www.latinballet.com.
