FREE FRIDAY MOVIE: This week's (July 23) free Richmond Parks and Rec Friday Movie in the Park is "The Blind Side". The movie begins at 8:30 p.m. with free popcorn, drinks and cotton candy (while supplies last) at Blackwell Community Center, 300 East 15th Street, Richmond.

FREE CONCERT: Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a free family concert Saturday (7/24) evening at the historic Wilton House in Richmond's Windsor Farms, overlooking the James River. There'll also be plenty of Children's activities like games and face painting. The fun starts at 6p.m.

FREE SHOCKOE FESTIVAL: The 17th Street Farmer's Market hosts the annual Shockoe Tomato Festival this Saturday, July 24. From 11a.m. to 4p.m., enjoy live music and lots tomato themed activities. Admission and parking are free.

FREE BOWLING: The week of July 31 is National Bowling Week. On Sunday Aug. 7th, bowl one game free at participating bowling centers including AMF Shrader Lanes in Richmond, Bowl America in Short Pump, AMF Sunset Lanes on Broad Street, and Bowl America-Midlothian. Download your coupon here.

FREE FAMILY MOVIES: Beat the heat at a free family movie at a Regal Cinema Theater. Once again this summer, Regal will offer free admission to their 10 a.m. screenings on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings through the end of August. FREE THEME PARK ADMISSION: Busch Gardens Williamsburg is offering free admission through the summer for children age 9 and younger with the purchase of an adult ticket. The offer is good for Virginia residents only, and with pre-registration on-line, which you can do by clicking here.

FREE HISTORICAL INTERPRETATION: See a free re-enactment of the Second Virginia Convention, which features Patrick Henry's rousing "Give me liberty, or give me death!" speech. Sundays through Labor day at St. John's Church at 2401 E. Broad Street in Church Hill. Admission is free for the 2 p.m. performance; ticket distribution begins at 1 p.m.
