FREE FAMILY MOVIES: Every Friday night through the end of October , Tom Leonard's Farmers Market in Short Pump is showing a free outdoor movie, complete with warm cider. Shows begin at 7pm in the Hay Bale Theater. This week, it's "Charlie & Lola", those loveable animated siblings.

FREE FESTIVAL: With Free Admission, The Innsbrook Beer, Wine and Food Fest is this Sunday, October 18th, from 2-7pm at the Snag-a-Job Pavilion. The event features live music, beverages, and food from some of Richmond's Top Chef's.

PARADE AND FESTIVAL: The Midlothian Village Day Festival and Craft Fair is this Saturday at the Midlothian Middle School. The family-fun day begins at 10am, and includes a parade, food, entertainment, a craft fair and silent auction. All proceeds benefit local charities. Admission is free.

FREE DOCUMENT SHREDDING: The Better Business Bureau is offering a free document shredding day this Saturday, October 17th from 9 a.m. to noon. They'll also have tips and resources for protecting your identity. Bring up to 3 boxes or bags of your documents to 720 Moorfield Park Drive in Midlothian. Documents to be shredded should be removed from binders, but staples, paper clips are okay to be shredded. CDs and floppy discs are not accepted.

FREE FLU SHOTS: Jewish Family Services is offering free flu shots for low-income senior citizens in the Greater Richmond Area who are uninsured or underinsured and homebound. JFS Nurses will make home visits to give the vaccinations. Call 282-5402 for more information.

MORE FREE FLU SHOTS: If you're currently without a job or health insurance, CVS is offering free flu shots. You can call 1-888-FLU-SHOT to find out how to get the necessary voucher.

KIDS EAT FREE: For a limited time, all Piccadilly Restaurant locations will offer free kids meals after 4 p.m. to children six years of age and younger, with the purchase of an adult meal. Limit one free kid meal per adult meal purchase. Offer valid for dine-in only There are two Picadilly locations in the metro area; one at 8004 West Broad Street, the other at SouthPark Mall in Colonial Heights.

FREE 60 DAY WAREHOUSE CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Get a Free BJs 60-Day Trial Membership to BJs Wholesale Club. The voucher you download can be redeemed until December 31st.

FREE DRY CLEANING: Puritan Cleaners has extended its offer to provide free dry cleaning for Richmonders who have lost their jobs. Called 'Good Interview', the program has been extended through October 31, 2009. Puritan will clean a suit / blazer and slacks and two dress shirts, or two regular dresses per week for the jobless.

To take advantage of this program, you need to provide a letter from the Virginia Employment Commission or your previous employer to receive the free cleaning.Puritan Cleaners has 13 locations throughout Greater Richmond.
